Une adolescente de 16 ans, Savannah, se retrouve sans cavalier pour le bal de fin d'année. La pauvre va être aidée par une fée totalement inexpérimentée...

J'ai lu aussi “Hunger Games” de Suzanne Collins chez Pocket Jeunesse (400 pages) .
Dans le futur sombre des Etats-Unis, douze garçons et douze filles participent à un jeu de téléréalité montrant au peuple que le Capitole a le pouvoir absolu et dont l'unique règle est de survivre. Quand Primrose la jeune soeur de Katniss est appelée à participer aux Hunger Games, Katniss prend immédiatement sa place, car chez elle survivre est une seconde nature...
Les Hunger Games ont commencé. Le vainqueur deviendra riche et célèbre, les autres mourront...
J'ai trouvé cette histoire prenante, impossible de décrocher du livre. Je me suis complètement identifiée à Katniss, c'était troublant.

OH! Nathaniel just read the Hunger Games too! He loved it, all except for the ending. I don't know the ending so I can't discuss that, but he and Caroline really didn't like that. He is going to see the movie at the end of the month when it comes out. Is it supposed to be showing in France yet?
Did they read the second book? I haven't yet, and I don't know the ending of the second book. I would love to see the film, but unfortunately, I won't, it is not supposed to be showing in France, not yet. I haven't heard about the film.
Caroline read the second book but said she didn't care for it, so Nathaniel never read it. I'm sure the movie will come to you eventually!
I've just read the other two volumes. I preferred the third book rather than the second one, but I personally liked the novel.
And thanks to you, I found out that the film "Hunger Games" will be released in France on March 21st. I definitely want to go to see it!
