Aujourd'hui je suis allée voir les sculptures au Musée du Louvre. J'ai été impressionnée par le tombeau de Philippe Pot, duc de Bourgogne. Il représente Philippe Pot en gisant, porté par huit moines pleurants. Le monument a été réalisé de son vivant en 1480. Plus loin, La Mort Saint-Innocent, qui était jusqu'en 1786 au centre du cimetière des Innocents à Paris. BooOh !
Après cette superbe visite, c'est au temple de la grosse pomme que je me suis rendue car on m'avait promis un petit cadeau...

So what did you get?!!! I was waiting to see! You and Caroline like so many of the same things... she is ALWAYS on her ipod touch!! Okay... that skeleton is very spooky looking!! I actually love the sculptures of the monks. They remind me of the Burghers of Calais... wonder if Rodin saw the monks before he did them? You are so lucky to be able to spend so much time in the Louvre!! I promise that we are going to visit too... and you will be an expert at what to see there!
an ipod but not the ipod touch :-) The sculpture of the monks is very impressive. This museum is so big with so many stairs, that you can't see everything in a day. I want to go back there to see Napoleon III apartments :-)
