A pique nique at the Basilica? How nice!!! The mosaics are so beautiful...I'm going to stay here while you go to the crypt! Yikes! :/

I'm actually really amazed that this was built during the 20th century-- so much detail! It is a gorgeous church. The architectural styles do not reflect the time period which just goes to show that beautiful cathedrals can still be built today. I know a man who wrote a whole book about that fact!

I was amazed by the size of the Basilica of Saint Thérèse and by the beauty of all the mosaics. We can climb the 305 steps inside the dome to get a view of the town of Lisieux :)
