Objectif Lune

Voilà les vieux journaux que maman a ressorti du grenier pour moi, des vrais de l'époque ! Authentiques ! Maman était petite en juillet 1969 mais elle se souvient bien de la joie qui régnait dans sa maison. Sa grande sœur, Catherine et sa maman essayaient dans l'excitation de lui expliquer en lui montrant le journal, combien il était fantastique d'avoir marché sur la Lune. Ma maman, elle, était contente que tout le monde soit heureux, mais elle ne comprenait pas bien ce qu'il y avait de SI extraordinaire d'avoir marché là-haut... Mais l'euphorie, elle s'en rappelle et elle avait aimé ! C'est l'événement qui a le plus marqué son enfance.

C'est chouette! (don't you wish I would learn a new phrase?)
I have seen the Apollo in the Space Museum at the Smithsonian.
I was 7 years old in 1969 and I remember seeing those things on t.v. ...also so much about the Vietnam War which was scary and sad. And about Woodstock...ask your mom about that event :)
We keep newspapers often here according to the big news stories...I have them hanging on clotheshangers in the closet!

Congratulations Bliss for your french improvement :) C'est very chouette :) How lucky you have been to be able to see Apollo !!! I have asked Mom about Woodstock :) But where is Bethel ? PS - Have you seen the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower ? If not, I have post it :) Bisous ♥

How fun Clara that you get to look at that newspaper! And so nice that your mom saved it all these years!!
I just saw your post about the soaps you made as well. SO FUN!! I love the colors and the shapes. Makes me want to try and make my own as well! :)

Thank you for your lovely visit Sarah :) I have red those newspapers with mom the other day and i found very interesting to read those news directly from 1969. The soaps smell good as well. I find very pleasant to wash my hands with them and I was happy to make them myself :) I will make some more soon as they arrive to their end :) Bisous to you and to little Max ♥
