Quand je suis arrivée, elle scintillait de mille feux ! C'est l'endroit le plus chouette à visiter ! Édifiée en deux ans, deux mois et cinq jour ! 18 038 pièces de fer assemblées à la main et 2,5 millions de rivets pour assembler les pièces entre-elles. Un vrai Meccano pour géants ! La Tour Eiffel, c'est le monument parisien que je préfère ! À chaque fois que j'y vais et que je grimpe les deux premiers étages à pieds (668 marches), j'ai toujours la même émotion ! Cette année elle fête ses 120 ans ! C'est génial ! Magique ! Arrivée au 2ème étage, je me suis reposée un peu et j'ai ensuite pris l'ascenseur pour aller au 3ème étage ! C'est le manège le plus giga/extra/fantastique que je connaisse ! J'ai eu la peur de ma vie ! C'est très impressionnant ! Tout en haut de la Tour Eiffel il y a beaucoup de vent ! Il est pas beau le ciel de Paris ?
Saviez-vous qu'un éléphant est monté au premier étage de la tour ? Oui oui, en 1959, pour fêter les 85 ans de son éléphante, Bouglione (du Cirque Bouglione) l'a emmenée visiter la tour Eiffel.
J'ai hâte d'y retourner !!!

I loved reading your post!! I read it to Mr. Hissong and we had to laugh at the elephant being on there!! Maybe it was Babar??? I used to have that book about Babar in Paris and he lost his flute to the moustache man (who looked like my daddy!!!). Anyways... I hope your birthday is wonderful... we'll sing to you here on your birthday-- go to the top of the Eiffel Tower and listen-- maybe you will hear it across the ocean!!!

In the USA we have birthday candles that are for playing tricks...you cannot blow them out! That is what you need next time when you go up there :) I know somebody who can send you some ;)
