Portrait sur toile

Un deuxième portrait d'après modèle vivant réalisé sur 3 jours. J'avais peur de ne pas le réussir. J'ai choisi la taille de mes pinceaux, ma main était tremblante quand j'ai posé la peinture sur la toile. La toile rebondit et ça ne facilite pas la tâche ! Maman m'a dit de ne pas avoir peur et de tenir correctement mon pinceau. j'ai bloqué ma respiration pour ne pas dépasser. Une chance que j'ai fait de la plongée cet été, je me suis entraînée à l'apnée :) J'avais raté le point de lumière d'un œil, maman l'a effacé et je l'ai recommencé. Et là j'ai pensé, je ne serai pas peintre plus tard, c'est beaucoup de travail...

Yes, but her eyebrows are hidden behind her specs. I couldn't see them :)

I don't know why you were afraid, Clara. Your painting is very nice, superb!

The thing about paint is ... it is just paint, you don't like what you did, paint over it and do it again.

The more you do, the less you are afraid, the better painter you become.

I think it is terrific that you are painting portraits because you know, most people would be so afraid to try that, that they wouldn't even start!

So you must be very proud of your work, because not only did you not limit your thinking and try it, but your painting is wonderful! Brava!!!

Thank you Sue :) Thanks for your so kind advices, i wont give up :) These two portraits was my very firsts ones with acrylic, i was not use to it, but i enjoy painting very much :) it needs attention, but i is funny and i like painting :) I think, it will take time not to be afraid before starting, hi hi :) I hope you are having a lovely weekend :) Bisous :) xo
