Alexandre Dumas

Hmmm, I did not realize that Dumas wrote La Reign Margot (I really love The Three Musketeers & The Count Of Monte Cristo). I don't know why I did not know that Dumas wrote La Reine Margot! I have not read La Reign Margot so I must fix that oversight (although first I want to find one of the books about George Sand that your mama told me about in a comment on my blog). La Reign Margot is one of my favorite, favorite films!

It looks like you are having a wonderful summer and seeing some of the most wonderful and beautiful sights! I am enjoying all your reports very much!!! Have you read Une famille aux petits oignons yet? You must write a review when you read it!!

Bisous!!!

Thank you for your visit Sue :) Yes i have already read “La famille aux petits oignons” and because it was so pleasant to read, i have finished the book :) I might write a review that's a good idea ! I am happy that you enjoyed my little reports :) I love to do some sightseeing so much :) By the way, did you have a look at the link i give to see the magnificent library where they played a few scenes of the movie La Reine Margot. I went in that Library last year. Bisous Sue ♥

Yes, I did click on the link and see your photos of the library (which is very beautiful!!!). All that wood - so pretty (Wouldn't you like to read in a room like that?)! My youngest daughter moved to Chicago a week ago (to go to art school) and I am now turning her bedroom into a library (all my books will be so happy to have a place to live now :-) ) ...so those photos are very inspiring to me, I wish my library could look like that!

I will have to get out my copy of La Reine Margot, watch the film again, and see if I can recognize anything from your photos!

I hope you are having a very nice day (it is still morning here), I am off to Disneyland to meet Sarah and my Grandson Max. Today, Disneyland will be filming commercials to be shown on television and the commercials will be staring the Muppets (Kermit, Miss Piggy, etc.). We are going to try and see if we can see any of the filming activity!

Bisous,
Sue

That library was incredibly beautiful ! There were one or two hidden doors to go behind the walls, and little reading rooms. Only the windows gave the light. I haven't seen the Reine Margot film yet, mama did, but she cannot remember if she saw or not the library, she said like you that she has to get a copy of it to watch it again. She loved that film too. Ooh Lucky you are to go to Disneyland :) I love the Muppets ! They are so funny ! Bisous Sue and bisous to Sarah and little Max ♥
